Back In The Saddle Again...

Wow! It's hard to believe that my last post was in November! So much has happened between then and now... I've been meaning to get back to my poor, neglected blog, but it seems that other things have been interfering. That's one New Year's Resolution that I've already failed! ;)

Oh well. I haven't really had the time to do much crafting, but it's not from lack of wanting! My sewing machine is sitting on my mini ironing board on the kitchen counter with a whole slew of half-finished projects piled up behind it. It seems that projects are crammed into every corner of my house. I've got enough to keep me busy for months!!

Since I'm a slacker and don't have any new material to share today, I thought I'd focus on two of my favorite blogs. When I've got the time, I have a select few that I will actually read. Not just skim, but truly read. These ladies are wonderful, and if ever given the chance, I would love to meet both of them! I wish I had half as much talent as they do!! Without further ado...

Jeni, from In Color Order, has the most beautiful projects! She also provides detailed insight into the process of choosing colors, which is something that terrifies me! She finds the coolest things while thrifting - vintage sheets, pyrex, and more - and shares snapshots of her sweet little bunny, George. I love reading her posts, as well as seeing all of the beautiful things she creates! She has frequent giveaways and shares a TON of awesome tutorials. Check her out!

My next fav, Amber from One Shabby Chick, shares her amazing quilts and other sewn goodies, as well as snapshots from her life. She has a beautiful family, and seems to be one amazing, talented lady! Her color and fabric choices (as well as her finished projects) absolutely amaze and inspire me. I absolutely love her blog!

Finally, I wanted to take a second and plug a family business - King's Bakery. My husband's brother, Joel, and his wife, Ashley, have started a mobile bakery. They are an awesome duo with an eye for detail and a gift for making super tasty treats!! Plus, they are two of the most wonderful people you could ever hope to meet and have the sweetest little boy, Ethan. I love them dearly and hope that you will take a moment to check out their website. You can also find them on Facebook. Check them out!!

Well, enough rambling for one day. I'll leave you with an image from my sponsers:

Have a great Sunday!! =)

Jennie
